DC Days: A Walk On The Mall

I am not back in Austria yet,

but I figured I'd get started on posting a few pictures now.

These are from our first outing to DC,

when it was too hot to do much of anything

and we just took a stroll from the Washington Monument,

down to the Lincoln Memorial and back.

Does anyone else remember this popsicle as a "Firecracker"?

Because it is a "Patriot Rocket" now. Ugh.
