NY Escape: The Great Walk

We had both been to NY City before,
so we skipped the major sites
and the standing-in-line
and walked and walked and walked
for three days straight.
(There is a lot of walking and exploring that can be done in this city.)

Day One

We arrive after missing our first bus.
Sleep.
Our hostel is on the Upper West Side
and we walk all the way down Broadway
to Times Square.
And then back up again.
Along the way we stop at
Subway for lunch
Circuit City (my boyfriend's favorite, along with Staples)
Filene's Basement
a local restaurant for a quick drink,
Times Square
Fifth Avenue
Rockefeller Center
devour a hot dog in front of FAO Schwarz
and
watch the newest Harry Potter movie.
