What do you do with your kids at camp,
when it rains for almost three weeks straight?
Teach them to take the storm light seriously.
Enjoy the wind and the view with them.
Build forts,
hide out,
and count down the days
until the sun shines again.
Wear flippers instead of shoes.
What the heck,
you might as well slide down the wet and slippery slopes.
In white pants, nonetheless.
(Oops.)
Go rowing, perhaps?
Why not!
Bake cookies,
of course!
If you can't beat them,
join them.
And with still no sign of the sun,
you might as well go for a swim.
