Not Alone

This rose need not worry
about loneliness.

A secret admirer observes from afar,
too shy to say hello.

That chatty ice cream twin
stops by with the latest gossip.

Friends with the same taste in fashion
are always good to have.

And then, of course, there's the little copy-cat sister.

What a lovely post.

This reminds me of one of my favourite songs, Silent Worship, listen to it here.

And did you not see my lady, out in the garden there,
Shaming the rose and lily, for she is twice as fair...

Maybe she was photographing the rose and the lily.

I hope you have a good weekend, try to relax as much as you are able to.

Catharina,
I can but add my two cents worth to the comments by Jess and Maalie: Simply lovely post!
The secret admirer's eyes are quite impressive. ;-)
Love the song that Maalie linked to! :-)

Yes lovely photos of roses.
I didn't go through Maalie's link to the song, so I don't know if it was Aled Jones who was singing, but his version topped the Classic FM's charts one month.

Catharina,
I just went through your flickr stream/s. Oh my goodness, you have me worshipping at the altar of your talent (if I may say so, may I?). Very creative. And I do love your titles. Like "Double Exposure". ;-)))

Lorenzo, it is Kenneth McKellar.

I know, I went and had a look. I think I like his version better than that of young Aled's. Unfortunately, now I have listened to the song, it has been buzzing round my head for the last two days and IT WILL NOT GO!!
