Berlin

In 2007

I fell in love with Berlin.

Three years later,

I was finally back

for a much too short weekend trip.

I am still in love.

The soccer World Cup

(or as we call it in German: WM)

was going strong,

and Germany still had high hopes.

When a game was on,

the entire city watched, captivated.

I have vowed

that I will not let three years pass

before I go back.
